Narrative Film Production
Back Lot Films is currently in development on The 14th President, a feature-length film written by Bill Millios and Matthew Thomas. The screenplay is based on the tragic life of United States President Franklin Pierce. In the shadow of the American presidency, Franklin Pierce's rise to power and tragic downfall reveal the untold story of a man haunted by personal loss and political turmoil, striving to leave a legacy in a nation on the brink of civil war.
The company’s two feature-length films, Old Man Dogs (1997) and Dangerous Crosswinds (2005), were well-received in Variety, The Boston Globe and America Online and screened at theaters throughout New England. Back Lot's short film, Bottled Words (1995), won the "First & Finest" award at the 1995 New Hampshire Film & Video Awards.

Client Testimonials
“Bill Millios has made it his passion to create films that are true to his heart and tell their stories his way, embarking on a grassroots approach not only during production, but through the marketing and distribution of his films, as well.”
Matthew Newton
Director
NH Film & Television Office
"Over the years, Bill Millios has completed several video projects for our non-profit organization. Each time, he’s listened to what we we needed and delivered it to us, on time, and well within our budget. He does his work with such grace and good humor that it’s easy to forget how good he is at it, until you see the quality of what he has done. Best of all, he’s a pleasure to work with. For all these reasons, I can recommend Bill and his work wholeheartedly.”
